Pastoral Care Program
The Pastoral Department at The TUFF Services Ministries, directs and enhances the spiritual care of patients, survivors and their families. The department’s mission is based on a nondenominational-Christian faith and is designed to promote the healing process as part of a united effort with other professionals in the healthcare field, without judgment, guilt or shame. This common work is strengthened by the relationship established between our department and representatives of the religious and spiritual community.
The Department of Pastoral Services offers to patients, survivors and their families:
- Pastoral care
- Worship and sacraments
- Notification of their congregation at patient's request
- Religious and Spiritual literature, Bibles, devotional guides, etc.
- Assistance with living wills and durable power of attorney
- End-of-life decision-making
The chaplains in our department are ministers who are qualified through their training and experience to offer spiritual care to all spiritual beliefs and understandings. Their sensitivity to individual beliefs and knowledge of different religious and spiritual practices enable these chaplains to meet people at every point of their own individualistic needs.
A chaplain is assigned to the area in which you are staying and is available to you upon request. Because a chaplain is on call 24 hours a day, a hospital associate or one of our team members, can aid you in reaching one of our chaplains at any time, by communicating with us directly at: (702) 569-9901.
